Sean Lehmann was born June 8, 1972 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended Cottonwood High School and graduated with high honors. Sean then attended the University of Utah on a full-ride academic scholarship. He was also a member of the Utah track and cross country teams, earning two varsity letters. Following his experience in Utah, Sean moved to Iowa to attend the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery located at Des Moines University. He earned both a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and a Master's degree in healthcare administration. He then completed a surgical residency program at Lakewood Regional Medical Center near Long Beach, California. During his residency, Sean married Michelle Storey in August of 1999. Soon after opening his practice in the summer of 2000, Sean and his wife bought a home in Carson City. On May 7, 2003 Sean and Michelle welcomed their first son, Parker, into their home. Parker is in first grade at Bordewich Bray Elementary School. March 18, 2005 saw the birth of their second son, Bryce. Sean and Michelle are both avid runners and have run several marathons together. They particularly enjoy running the trails of the Carson City foothills and have not missed a single Nevada Day run since their arrival. Sean also enjoys skiing, hiking, basketball, traveling and flying.
